We are a wholesale distributor, which means we buy glass in large quantities at wholesale pricing. We in turn, pass our savings to the retail customer. We actually have one of the largest inventories of all the retail glass installation companies in St. Louis.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Windshields and back glasses usually take an hour to remove and replace. Your vehicle needs to sit a minimum of one hour for the glass to set up. Door glasses usually take 45 minutes to one hour. There is no waiting time on door glasses.
WILL YOU CLEAN UP THE BROKEN GLASS IN MY VEHICLE?
Yes, all our installers carry portable vacuum cleaners.
MY WINDSHIELD HAS A LONG CRACK IN IT, BUT IT REALLY DOESN’T BOTHER ME, WHY SHOULD I REPLACE IT?
For safety reasons!! The passenger side air bag deploys upwards and deflects off the windshield and out towards the passenger. The deployment exerts an enormous amount of pressure on the windshield and could potentially eject a damaged or improperly installed windshield. In addition, as vehicles have changed over time, the windshield has become an integrated part in the structural integrity of your vehicle. Windshields play an important role in providing protection to you in the event of a roll over accident. It is very important to have a structurally sound windshield in your vehicle at all times.
DOES AutoGlassDistributors HANDLE THE INSURANCE PAPERWORK FOR ME?
Yes. We work with all insurance companies. Your participation is required to report the claim, but we will walk you through the claims process to ensure that it goes as smoothly as possible.
DO YOU PROVIDE FREE MOBILE SERVICE?
Yes. As a service to our customers, we perform most of our installations on a mobile basis for no extra charge. We come to your home or place of business.
