AGD warranties against defects in material and workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle in which the glass was installed. Auto Glass warranty does not cover leakage or damage caused by pre-existing damage to the window frame or rust on the window frame. It does not cover damage to your glass by an impact with foreign objects, vandalism, theft or accidents.
Insurance Claims Glass losses are covered under under the comprehensive coverage part of your insurance policy. These types of claims do not affect your premium rating. AGD works with all major insurance compaines and networks. We can bill your insurance company directly.
When you call an 800 number, to report a claim, you are often talking directly to one of the national glass installation companies that operates a network for the insurance industry. They may try to suggest that you use a specific company (their company) to have your replacement done. Remember, you have the right to choose the company you want to relplace your glass.
